How TEETH are so important in health and life

Teeth help us chew our food and consume food...Food is how we derive energy to live and let our body function...Lack of teeth means, lack of the ability to get in enough nutrition in the right form to sustain the body..TEETH ..A PROPER SET OF TEETH ARE THAT IMPORTANT..
Also, teeth like in the mouth..the opening the opens both into our airway and digestive system...the mouth sits right on top of the neck with all it's important blood vessels, nerves, the spine and what not..so ..something wrong with the teeth..can easily cause trouble in the whole body..just like that
So yeah...TEETH ARE THAT IMPORTANT....hmmmm., sigh....hmmmmmmm...

Chronic diseases can be quite debilitating both mentally and physically

Q.What is a CHRONIC course of disease?
A disease that takes long to develop or one that lasts very long once it develops .The LONG part is what we refer to in Medicine as CHRONIC
Q.What can the Chronicity factor do to you?
A.Have you ever run a marathon? Have you ever run short sprints?Which one would be easier to accomplish, you say? Well, each of them has its own difficulty factor ..but then at the end of the day, All of us can manage a sprint from time to time especially when interspersed with LOOOOONG periods of rest where our body gets to recuperate..yeah?
But a marathon,it is about TENACITY...ABOUT HOLDING IT TOGETHER AND FOR AS LONG AS THE RACE LASTS.
Chronic diseases are like that...You have to not hit the threshold of patience and tolerance prior to the disease course..You have to hold on , hold on to HOPE, cut down the fear...and deal with the chronicity with PATIENCE..Patience and acceptance are key while dealing with chronic diseases.
The first question all of us ask when we get hit with adversity is, 'WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME?"
Honestly, after having asked that question over and over and squalouring in self pity, I realized that ..IT IS A SENSELESS QUESTION TO ASK...no consequence or no right answer to such a question..Hence, we must all stop asking stupid questions that have no reasonable answers..
Nevertheless the answer to that question would be>>  " well, it has already happened,so , now deal with it like an adult..Just DEAL WITH IT.Don't question it"

All of us can muster up courage to deal with that week long severe episode of being ill, but, the prospect of dealing with being sick week after week is mentally demoralizing...
Q.How to deal with such a daunting near future?
A.JUST ACCEPT IT...Don''t question it..Just accept it as  YOUR NORMAL ROUTINE...
1/just deal with it..
slowly,
one day at a time,
surely,
calmly,
2/write lists of what to do,
3/write down your fears.
4/Keep emergency phone numbers handy
5/Distract yourself with TV and such fun breaks from time to time..It helps on some level to heal the mind, to relieve it of the constant fear and sadness.
6/Eat well
7/get sleep, sleeping helps the body heal no matter what
8/CONSTANTLY IMAGINE YOURSELF HEALING AND GETTING BETTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE..this so so so helps..
9/Have a plan , plan your treatment, discuss stuff with your healthcare provider even if you stand the danger of irritating the hell out of them(it is their job to alleviate your queries)
10/Have plan A, Have plan B , Have Plan C,So,,yeah..All I mean is..BE PREPARED for any eventuality, that way, you don't get shocked each time something bad turns up around the corner
11/Don't expect miracles, but then, always have hope..Hope that somehow things will turn around and get better.Sometimes when there is no visible logical end to your woes, hope is the best support system you have for yourself

Health is the biggest wealth of all

"Health scares" kinda wake you up as to how much "health" is important...More than anything else in the world...As long as you are healthy, anything else is so tolerable....so achievable,No?
Funnily , health bills are a big issue ....Not being able to access healthcare because you can't afford it or because you are too poor is THE WORST POSSIBLE FEELING...a feeling of helplessness..which further adds up to your stress and makes you even more unhealthy in the process.

Being actually really and truly unhealthy and seeking out emotional support from someone and then getting accused by them of  you having "hysteria" , is the worst possible thing to happen to you..especially when you somehow have just managed to collect enough money to get yourself treated finally and the healthcare provider is being callous with how they treat you and end up making mistakes in your treatment plan and you are getting scared that the treatment might fail and then you might need to seek re-treatment , but then you have no enough money for a re-treatment and then this person you seek emotional support from  is very very inconsiderate and says something like, "you actually aren't unhealthy, you are just overreacting..it is all in your mind, you have hysteria-you are experiencing these symptoms as part of the hysteria"
hmmmmmmm.sigh...okay...hmmmmmmmmmm.
Being unhealthy is sad in itself
But, experience APATHY from people whom you seek emotional support from is the worst thing.

LESSONS LEARNED
1.Money is important..You need to always have enough nest eggs to cover any unexpected healthcare expenses
2.Pricey health care providers are not necessarily the best.. price and quality of treatment are mutually exclusive entities....
3.research adequately from multiple sources  before choosing a health care provider-Unfortunately ,the current health plans in the US don't allow for patients to freely shift to any health care provider they prefer. This must change.Patients must be able to choose the healthcare provider. The patient should not be FORCED to consult any certain health care provider due to insurance clause.
4.An element of luck plays when it comes to the doctor-patient dynamic clicking and the treatment working according to plan. So,even if you don't believe in god..you start believing in prayer..where you hope you manage to find someone that listens to you and works with you when it comes to deciding on a final treatment plan
5.MONEY IS IMPORTANT IN LIFE..one big lesson learned...just reiterating it , is all.
6.My money wish for my life? I should have enough money to be able to BUY as much floss as I want without needing to think of it as an extravagance...as much money to be able to buy any medication whenever i need it .Money enough to pay for gas and groceries and hospital expenses...without needing to think and rethink in my head.Money to own a safe home with heating for a lifetime.Money, money , money? No?whatever.
7.Take care of a health problem in time..Don't be lazy and postpone going to a healthcareprovider ....health problems that are not attended to in time hold the danger of becoming something quite serious and untreatable .Then you feel like kicking yourself for being so CALLOUS...
8.Don't be afraid to seek help, ask questions, take difficult decisions to ensure your own safety at the cost of being called HYSTERIC and overcautious and anxious...If you are a patient and you are unhealthy, you are allowed to be anxious...it is your right...DON'T try to play it cool just to make bystanders comfortable.
9.If you are afraid or dissatisfied with a treatment plan..DON'T BE AFRAID TO SAY NO...it is your body...you have a right to say no to MAN-HANDLING especially when someone is clueless when it comes to PROPER DIAGNOSIS
10.Don't get treated by healthcare providers who are obviously going through PERSONAL LIFE PROBLEMS...Only Very few mature responsible physicians know how to NOT LET THEIR PERSONAL LIFE AFFECT the way they interact and judge their patients...I know so many doctors. who take out all their life's insecurities on their patients...by judging them and by depriving good treatment to a  patient who represents or reminds them vaguely of something that they don't innately approving of..TRANSFERANCE , COUNTERTRANSFERANCE?
11.It is tough to be a patient when you are a physician...It is tough to be the "patient" when all your life you are used to being the doctor..ROLE REVERSAL is a tough adjustment
12.The power of the mind to heal the body is so so powerful..POWERFUL AUTOSUGGESTION CAN CURE A THOUSAND DISEASES...but, it needs work...mental work..positivity...and money and good food and good people around you that care for you.
