Stop using Single serve plastic dinnerware-Use reusable cutlery

It horrifies me when people take plastic spoons to picnics and then use them JUST ONCE and then discard them off into the trash before leaving back for home.
why?
Well, they are lazy to do the dishes..they don't want to take the trouble to wash the forks and spoons and plates that they use to have a single meal
And they are able to do that coz they can..I would rather that anyone who produces more trash than needed be arrested ..
WHAT IS SO WRONG WITH TAKING A WEE BIT OF EXTRA TIME TO WASH THE DISHES/CUTLERY THAT YOU USE TO EAT DINNER..?
These plastics that you use don't get degraded even in 10,000 years..yes TEN THOUSAND YEARS .
So, each day if  we keep using a plastic fork, spoon and plate for each meal and then discard it in the trashcan .. soon THERE WILL BE NO PLACE ON THE SURFACE OF THIS EARTH FOR ANYTHING BUT TRASH.


THE CONCEPT OF BIODEGRADABLE TRASH.
I am needing to explain this concept coz that is when you will understand why Plastic forks are NOT IDEAL GARBAGE.
When we eat a banana, we throw the peel off into the mud..the ground.Within a week, ants, roaches, insects would have eaten the peel up and if anything is left, the SOIL MICROBES TAKE OVER....
Quickly,within a month..most of the peel and its minerals and components has already gone back to the earth...replenishing the soil mineral sources which then can again be used by growing plants...
A plastic spoon that you throw in trash ..Once it reaches the soil , cannot be eaten up by the scavengers...it just sits there years and years after..creating trash in the soil that cannot be cleared ...and soon the soil is full of trash.

USE METAL OR WASHABLE TABLE/DINNER WARE.
When you go to a picnic, take along metal spoons and plates..of even if you are using plastic..take along the REUSABLE ONES..THE ONES THAT CAN BE WASHED AND REUSED MANY MANY TIMES..
That way you are not responsible for trashing up the earth..k?
